Mini Album - Part 2

Front Cover
I really love how this album turned out, and is up for sale here!  Since you picked out your supplies in the last post, lets get started today in getting everything ready to go for your album!  Each album done will be different, simply because of the pictures you end up working with, and the supplies you use!

Step one:  Out of the papers you have selected, choose one that will be for your front and back cover.  Cut the 12 x 12 sheet of paper/cardstock in half.  Fold in half - set aside!

Step two:  Take the 8.5 x 11 sheets of cardstock, trim to 5 3/4" x 11 - fold each piece in half, add to the inside of the cover - one inside the other!

Step three:  Decide how many photos you want to use in your album, the more photos you are using, the more interactive features you might want to add to the album.  The green piece on the front cover actually flips up giving you more room for other photos or journaling about the album!  You can also add a fun saying to the front cover too!

Step four:  Using a hole punch - punch 2 holes where for the ribbon to go through.  I try to go as close to the fold as I can for all 3 pages, putting the hand-held punch at the top, and then the bottom creating 2 holes.  Getting things ready here, helps you to know how to place the inside pieces!  **Do NOT add the ribbon yet - simply get the holes done in this step!

Step five:  Add the photo matt's - see the photos below for how I do mine!  I also added interactivity to the album pages!

Step six:  Look at the embellishments you want to use, this is where you want to get your die cut machine, stickers, stamps, punches - and create your own embellishments! Start to add them to the album.

Step seven:  Don't forget the back, make sure you get a signature stamp going, such as the stamps I use here, and add it to the back of the creation!  You can also sign it, initial it, or number it if you create more than one!

Each album will be different, yet done the exact same!  I picked up some darling paper - I can't wait to see what inspiration hits me to create with it!  More 10 page mini albums for sure!  Quick, easy, and fun to create!
