Independence Day Mini Album idea

Mini album (standing up)        Mini albums - you know they are my favorite things to do, being able to create an album in a day without too many supplies or the time having to complete it.  Have you stopped to think also about how much easier a project such as this is to do - being able to complete it in a day, as well as use up all the photos you can from that Holiday event, such as Independence Day!   Mini album (bound with ribbon)      Basic instructions can be found   here  if you don't already have them, make sure to book mark that particular page for easy access...once you complete one album though, it's pretty basic for the rest, you are just creating the theme of the album using papers and supplies.   The album is bound on the side with various colors of ribbon and floss to match the project I am working on - in this case, red, white and blue for the "Independence Day" or "Patriotic" theme!  Use this colo...
This is one of those layouts that can be recreated with different themes and different colors... depending on what you need.  In this layout, I chose photos that show my cat's personality, as you can tell she is Miss Priss around this house!  You could change this by using the same title and colors, just put girl photos in!   You can also change both the title and colors, just use blues for the colors and change the title to "All Boy" instead!  The cardstock I chose for this example is from the  Bazill Basics  company.  They have 5 packs that coordinate with each other, making it so that your colors match!   In this example, as easy as it is, I did use a couple of harder techniques.  I will give you ideas how to change things for your experience level.  On side 1, I used eyelets to hold the ribbon, but you can always use a simple hole punch, placing ribbing through it and glueing down both the top and bottom port...

Basic layout using stickers

This layout was a very simple layout to do, using 4 photos, stickers and a bit of color in the ribbon and buttons!   Simple to recreate using any type of themed stickers and photos that match!  In this layout, I wanted to showcase the photos more than the embellishments I used.  The colors were girlish, more to match the stickers, than anything in the photos.  If you look at the flowers, I used buttons in the middle of the flowers, this is especially good if you have a certain color in the sticker that might clash with what you are doing.  I am all for handwritten journaling on your pages instead of computer generated.  Yes, computer generated might "look" better, but you want to have some of your pages have your own words, your own handwriting on them.  This way, future generations can see how you wrote, and what you had to say, instead of reading something from the computer.  I also added a few stickers that were sayings, inst...
