Organizing Your Home With Totes -

Essential Storage Tote I have been working on organizing my craft space, and stumbled upon this company that is help ing me to make a bit of money AND organize the spaces in my home, including my craft space !!!  They have key pieces I can purchase to add to the ot her piece s I have made - the recycled shoe bo xes , the shipping boxe s , and my Project Life boxes (blog post to follow) to start with!  Each piece I purchase will go with the pieces I have made, and will help to keep myself organ ized and able to get more done in the long run (or so I hope)!!!  The best thing I like is being able to cu stomize the pieces I purchase, with the spaces I need to organize !!!   I am excited for the end result - because I truly am getting more done right now by organ i zing as I have !  As I organize one thing - I move things around , or decide if I truly am going to use something again.  I am in the middle of organizing/reorganizing my stamps b...

Supplies and Organizing Part Two

If you have been creating for a while - this post is for YOU!  If you have collected a ton of supplies, but really - nothing is organized...also for you!  Our supplies are a very important part of this whole "paper crafting" thing, along with the reason and the idea that is!  This month - we are going to talk a bit more about organizing and going through what we do have, in order to make room for ot her stuf f!!!  Go through everything you own for paper crafting.  As you are going through it - put like with like items, have a place for all the tools you use, and a place for things you want to get rid of! Paper Craft Organizational Tips -

When Del and I moved from Colorado to California, almost half of the trailer we used to move was my crafting supplies, and I had already sold a lot!  To say my husband was mad - would be an understatement!  Yet the alternative - was giving me the money needed to repurchase it all - ya, that wasn't going to happen LOL, so move what we could we did!!!   2 years later, I now have a very small studio...okay, it's my dining space in my very small apartment, but it's mine all the same!  My space has evolved over the course of time, with different supplies to keep things in, and spaces to create on!  I ended up with a desk almost a year ago...and I love it!  I have plans to repaint it after I find the perfect wardrobe for all of my creative supplies to go in!  This way, I can customize the 2 pieces to my personal taste and needs!
