An Altered Address Book and Composition Notebook -

I had a lot of fun this weekend creating during the National Scrapbook Day on Saturday! Since I am stuck at home for the most part, I had a lot of fun getting projects finsihed (like these), and some decided on for some pictures I just got back from Shutterfly!  Lots of great projects - a few layouts, a few mini albums, and a few paper bag albums too!

Finished notebook
So, with this first project, I used a composition notebook, smaller sized to go in my purse, along with an altered telephone and address book I have had!  I used the same supplies for both of the two books made:

Supplies used:
Robins Nest two sided paper
Scraps of paper for the die cuts & punches
Sizzix die cut - vine
Sizzlets die cut - daisy
Sun and circle punch
Hot glue
Pink alphabet rubon's (for composition notebook)
Small composition notebook
Telephone and address book from Simple Scrapbooks

I did not cover the inside covers - just the front and back covers of both books!  Basic directions for both of these:
Finished Address Book

Directions:
Step one:  Start to cover the composition notebook - cut the paper to size (adding a bit of extra paper you can trim off one of the sides.  Starting at the right side of the notebook and moving to the left from there.
Step two:  Finish gluing down the paper to the cover of the notebook until you are done. Trim anything that is left over.
Step three:  Repeat for the telephone and address book - using a smaller piece of the opposite side of the two sided paper you are using on the top.  Glue it down with your adhesive.
Step four:  Taking both of your notebooks - start to use your die cuts and create the tops of each of the notebooks to your liking.
Step five:  On the top of the composition notebook - using the alphabet rubon's - put a simple saying at the top.  I chose "notes" for me!

I hope you have enjoyed this latest project of mine!  I am in love with the Robins Nest papers - they are great to work with - and fun colors to boot!
