Mini album (standing up) |
Mini albums - you know they are my favorite things to do, being able to create an album in a day without too many supplies or the time having to complete it. Have you stopped to think also about how much easier a project such as this is to do - being able to complete it in a day, as well as use up all the photos you can from that Holiday event, such as Independence Day!

Basic instructions can be found here if you don't already have them, make sure to book mark that particular page for easy access...once you complete one album though, it's pretty basic for the rest, you are just creating the theme of the album using papers and supplies. The album is bound on the side with various colors of ribbon and floss to match the project I am working on - in this case, red, white and blue for the "Independence Day" or "Patriotic" theme! Use this color scheme for your take on 9/11...or remembering the 10 year anniversary this year! There are many photos you can find online - or just plan on taking a few photos of what you were doing that day, or how you felt... I always like to do a lot of interactive type of things in my projects, to allow for more photos or more journaling!

So for this project, you can see how you bind the 20 pages together with the ribbon - here are the rest of the pages for you to see how it all looks.

For the most part - mini albums help you to use up a lot of the photos you have taken from that one event and lets you use them in a fun, attractive format, instead of always just doing one layout and adding it to your yearly album. Something like this usually takes me a couple of hours to finish up, and usually with a page kit or something! Be creative, make your own kit up - and have fun creating fun mini albums! Can't wait to show you the idea for tomorrow - my last mini album for Independence Day!
