Basic layout using stickers

This layout was a very simple layout to do, using 4 photos, stickers and a bit of color in the ribbon and buttons!   Simple to recreate using any type of themed stickers and photos that match!  In this layout, I wanted to showcase the photos more than the embellishments I used.  The colors were girlish, more to match the stickers, than anything in the photos.  If you look at the flowers, I used buttons in the middle of the flowers, this is especially good if you have a certain color in the sticker that might clash with what you are doing.  I am all for handwritten journaling on your pages instead of computer generated.  Yes, computer generated might "look" better, but you want to have some of your pages have your own words, your own handwriting on them.  This way, future generations can see how you wrote, and what you had to say, instead of reading something from the computer.  I also added a few stickers that were sayings, instead of putting together a traditional t
Time Flies... an easy layout to recreate.  My son is now 24, when I started his album he was around 18 or so!  Waiting that long to start a child's album is hard because you have to remember so many different things!  This layout was very easy to recreate, even the sewing around the edges!  As I looked at what to do in this layout, I wanted to showcase how time flies when your kids are growing up.  One day they are babies, learning to go up and down stairs, and the next they are learning how to drive and getting their own lives going!  The supplies you need to recreate this layout is: Cardstock Saying stickers Buttons Floss for around the edges Black journaling pen Tags Sewing maching for sewing around the edges Needle for the floss Step one:  Find the photos you want to scrapbook. Step two:  I chose the saying stamps first, so I could decide on the colors of cardstock to use.  Step three:  On the base cardstock piece, using your sewing machine (without the thread)
This is one example of a card made from scraps and punches!   An easy card to recreate using any theme and any punches you have available to you. Items needed to recreate this card: Saying stamp Black inkpad Ribbon Button Bow punch Scissors or trimmer Scraps of paper Card/envelope  Step one:  Choose the card background you want to start with. Step two:  Choose the colors you want to use to go with the card you have selected.  Step three:  Using a trimmer or scissors, begin to make the presents for the card.  Step four:  Punch 3 bows for the presents, and create the ribbon part that goes underneath the bow.  Step five:  Using glue, put the presents together.  Step six:  Put down the background paper on the card front. Step seven:  Place the presents down on the background paper. Step eight:  Stamp the saying at the top of the card using the black ink pad. Step nine:  Make a bow out of the ribbon, and place a button on top using hot glue.      Again, as w
