First off - I apologize for posting a bit late - problems with photos!!! Welcome to Sweet Stamping Treats First Ever New Release Blog Hop! We are so happy you are here. If you are coming from Tami you’re on the right track. If you just joined us, you can go back to the beginning at http://sweetstampingtreats.blogspot.com/and hop along with us.
This hop is all about the new releases at Sweet Stamping Treats. The DT and some fun friends have put together some awesome projects using SST's new digi stamps. And there are prizes! One lucky winner who comments on the SST Blog will get to choose 3 stamps from the new release. Plus there are 3 more chances to win 1 stamp of your choice from the new releases hidden in some of the blogs on the hop! All you have to do hop along and leave comments. You must be a follower of SST and the blog where the winner is hidden to win a stamp, some make sure you comment!
For my projects, I ended up doing 4 different things using the digi stamps I received. For my first project - great for teachers gifts, or even just as a fun thing to make for teachers. For the school books - the images were printed out on vellum paper and immediately sprinkled with black embossing powder. The books were colored underneath the paper to give it more of a stained glass effect, with Radiant Pearls paint painting the apple! A simple bow at the top of the card, and the tassels coming out the top of the bookmark. I cut the image out, and 3D dotted them to raise them a bit more! Love this set...but my favorite set they sent me was the following...one that will be used a ton of different ways!!!
For these cards, they were again printed on vellum and then painted with Radiant Pearls paint, and embossed in clear embossing powder after the paint was finished. This image can be done in any way - I would love to see a photo underneath where the words are! Though you can't see it there are buttons in the middle of each of the flowers with a simple bow and button at the top of the creation. With anything I do - everything here was made with scraps of paper - and the card bases!!!
