This week, it's all about birthdays...it was mine, it will be my husband's daughter's this week, and my sister's all within the next 10 days... So, I share with you what I am making for my sister...and can't wait to show you what I have been up to! She has been a very good source of strength for me...and though I screw up at times, she gives me space, and I her...and then we move on... I have learned a lot, and still am learning a lot from her, and thank God every day she came back in my life...I truly am finding out what it's like to have a sister...and am sorry for the pain I have caused her and me being such a bitch at times...I love you Ally, and hope you have an awesome birthday!!!
The rest of the week on the hop, you will have just the 3 of us, me, Anita and Barbara...but we will be bringing you birthday ideas until Saturday, so make sure you keep checking back with us!!! The line up for the next three days is:
Barbara - http://barbaras-crafty-corner.blogspot.com/
I will be picking out a name from all the comments left on the 3 blogs until Saturday...for another $10 gift card sent to you for those that are hopping and commenting the rest of the week!!!! I hope you enjoy the hop, now...here's the idea!!!

Gift bag
Supplies:
White lunch sack
Patterned paper, various colors that coordinate
Die cuts - balloon and presents (I used Sizzix)
Floss
Silver brads
Glue dots adhesive
|
Directions:
Step one: Using the same paper from the card yesterday, matt the striped paper onto a mint green piece of cardstock for both the front and back of the bag.
Step two: Add the brads to each of the 4 corners on both matted creations, add that to the bag using Glue dots adhesive, craft style.
Step three: Cut the die cuts you want to use, adding the floss to the balloons using 2 colors twisted together...again, use the Glue Dots craft style adhesive for this step as well.
Step four: Start to put the balloons on the top part of the gift bag, with the floss streamers behind the present. Add a few other presents...and you are done.
I hope you enjoy the idea of the day...make sure you check back tomorrow for an absolutely darling framed page!! It is really adorable...and since I only had one sheet...my sister truly is getting a one of a kind page... Thank you for the comments, and especially the birthday wishes... I had a wonderful day...but any day I scrapbook is a wonderful day!!! Now on to Anita at http://www.anitaandbugs.blogspot.com/.

I think your gift bag is great and what is nice to me is that it is a "designed" piece but not at a designer's price. It shows thoughtfulness and is unique..
