The wonderful women in this hop were asked to make anything related to the theme - cards, banners, scrap layouts, posters, bulletin boards, magnets, crafty knick-knacks, bookmarks, home decor and accents and so on and so on.
Now lets get on with the festivities! If you came from Lynne then you are on the right track. If you want to start from the beginning, please hop on over to Nicole's Blog (http://crashingcreatively.blogspot.com/). Here is the complete hopping list just in case you get lost:

For my idea, I wanted to share with you something that you could recreate to keep track of your events, such as birthdays and anniversaries! The bottom part is two sided, with January - June on one side and July - December on the other side. Since I like to recycle, I used a simple chipboard piece for the top and bottom pieces, adding paper to it so you can't really see the chipboard. On the back of the top part, I have added magnets so we could hang it on the fridge at home!
Basic supplies needed:
Chipboard for the main piece
Paper to alter the chipboard
Black marker
Eyelets
Twine
Flowers
Alphabet stickers
Directions:
Step one: Decide how big you want your piece to be, I used a smaller size in order to add to the fridge and not have it taking up so much time. Cut the chipboard for the top piece, and the piece for the bottom should be longer to accommodate the dates.
Step two: Cover the top part of the Birthday hanger, and then matt another set of papers for the title. Add the alpha stickers for the title, set aside.
Step three: Cover the front and back of the longer piece of chipboard using patterned paper. Add the first 6 months, and then add 2 squares cut in half for the top and bottom part of the creation. Repeat for the other side.
Step four: Add eyelets to the bottom of the top piece, and to the top of the bottom piece. Add the twine through and create a bow to connect the two pieces. When you need to change to the next set of months, then simply take the bow out and turn it around, simply tying another bow!
I hope you enjoy my project today, I enjoyed bring you this project for Nicole's fun day! This way EVERYONE can recreate one for themselves!

I loved your project so much that I saved a picture of it to my computer. I have a grandmother on my husband's side who lost her date/address book and I wanted to put all the birthdays and anniversaries in a new book but like your idea much better. Very neat idea.
