Welcome to the "Thanksgiving" Blog Hop!!

 We're so happy you could join us for this super-fun hop showcasing cards, layouts and projects that feature everything to be thankful for!!  You'll find an array of ideas throughout the hop -- We hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way!!

You are at the beginning, thank you so much for joining our hop, make sure you check out all the great projects that are being brought to you today, and make sure you check back tomorrow for another round of gals with even MORE projects!   Some of the gals will be offering a bit of blog candy, so make sure you check them out along the way!  

For the hop today, I've created .......a 12 x 12 framed page I am sending to my sister!  

Framed pages make it fun to be able to showcase a holiday so it is up on your walls for your friends and family to see.  With this page, I started with a brown background and then added a few key colors to the creation.  The yellow is a beautiful shiny piece from a DCWV pack, a simple orange piece of paper, and then the striped piece cut into 1" strips to place across the top and bottom of the yellow and orange pieces.  


From this point - I used a simple CTMH pumpkin stamp (I am sure it is retired), black embossing powder, chalk, and scraps of paper for the pumpkin stamp.  Since the stamp is one row of about 5 pumpkins, I put 3 full stamps on the bottom (after I cut them out) and then cut some of the pumpkins to add to the top using 3D dots to give some of the pumpkins more dimension!  I really enjoyed how this project
