Things I'm Thankful For Blog Hop

Welcome to the Things I'm Thankful For Blog Hop. This blog hop runs from November 18th through November 19th. For a lot of people, Thanksgiving has become a day to watch football, eat turkey, and watch the Macy's Day Parade. While these are not bad things, some believe the most important part of Thanksgiving is giving thanks to God for our many blessings. God was very much a part of that first Thanksgiving. Although some would say it was just a day of celebration. Historical records show it was a time to give thanks to God.The pilgrims looked at everything as a gift from God, even the sorrowful things they saw as God allowing them to perfect their character. So with that being said we have created this "Things I'm Thankful" blog hop to show you some things we are thankful for and some wonderful things we think of when we think of Thanksgiving. We’ve had so much fun creating this hop, and we have a wonderful line up with some oh-so-talented creators. You will see some lovely projects having to do with Thanksgiving and things we are thankful for and have a chance to win some blog candy along the way. If you have come from (person before you blog info) you are right on track if not you can start at the beginning (http://honeybearzdesigns2011.blogspot.com/). I am so glad you joined us today!

Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way.

Front cover
This is a wonderful time of year, where you reflect on the things you are thankful for...  Being thankful for even the little things you have in your life does not take a lot, it just takes a bit of effort on your part, to look at all the things you have that are good.  Pretty soon you start to see all the many things in your life for which you can truly say "I am thankful/grateful" for what I have.  For today's project, I am sharing a recent album I have made, a place to document something that I am grateful each day this month!  The album has 20 pages total, front and back, and will have a place to put photos and plenty of journaling for each of the days!

Pages 2 and 3
Pages 4 and 5
With this album, you can do it just about any way you want to - with any kind of Thanksgiving title you would want and add photos to it as you have them developed and printed!  I used the being grateful title because at times, I don't feel like I'm too grateful for the things I do have...I tend to really be ungrateful at times...this album is to reflect the things I have that I am grateful for, and to remember them in a positive manor!  I used tags for the journaling, and added places for photos or more journaling as I take can get them added.

Page 6 and 7
Page 8 and 9
Each set of pages are different, some ready for photos, and some are ready for journaling, and some have both!  Tomorrow's post will be the rest of the pages included in this album so you can get an idea how to recreate one of your own.  I used a combination of stickers, punches, die cuts, stamps and brads to finish up this album - and plenty of Bazzill paper!!!  Though the products out on the market right now are just awesome, let me tell you!

Thanks a lot for visiting the hop - I hope you have a lot this year to be Thankful for - now...for my blog candy...  One lucky winner will receive a mini album of their choice for either Thanksgiving, Christmas, or a basic album...  You must be a follower of my blog and leave a message here with a way to contact you!  Your album will be made with you in mind, you will help me to pick out the papers and things I will use!  Now, your next stop on the hop is Liz  so go make sure you check out what she's been up to!

  3. beautiful album. Nice reason to create one also. I think we all tend to forget how to be grateful for the things we have that are postive in our lives. Especially now, when things seem to be falling apart around us in our economy.
