For my idea, I love to create mini albums to give as gifts to my friends and family. The reason I share this one, is you can recreate this same idea for someone for an "anniversary", maybe your parents - with a 10 things I love about your marriage - or something along those lines. I love easy projects you can make in a flash for any kind of reason!
Everything I make is one of a kind, this album is no different! Made with a 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock cut in half, and then folded to create the front and back cover. From there - I use 2 sheets of 8.5 x 11 cardstock trimmed 2.75" off the side, and folded down the middle to create the book on the inside.
From here - you can create your front cover, leaving the back cover blank, using just a stamp with my name and "designed by" together on the bottom, that way everyone knows it's from me! On the side of the album, I take a simple hole punch, and punch a hole from the bottom and the top, so I can place ribbon through it to bind the album together. I try to punch the holes as close as I can to the fold as I can for the ribbon to go through. For the top of this album, I used the title "10 Things I want to learn", and then inside each of the pages are things I want to learn how to do, which totaled 10 pages. Some need to be finished up as for the journaling, as this was an interactive album where I have tags and things to add the things I wanted to learn, so as they are done, I can document them more! Each set of pages were different, yet done using the same colors and papers.
This type of album can be made in no time, especially if you happen to have a few extra supplies or things left over from something else. Great way to use up those extra's, and scraps of paper even, leftover from other projects. Thank you so much for joining us, now, next up on your hop today is Lisa, go make sure you check out her project!
