You are at the beginning of this fun hop, so how about we get started!!! If you missed day one, make sure you check it out when you are done with this one!!! For the hop today, I've created a fun mini album for my husband and I to keep track of the types of people we are!!! I wanted to put things that truly make up who we are, such as the type of books we read - I love books of all kinds, and have read since I was a small child. On the other hand, Del hates to read much of anything unless he HAS to! Our music choices are as varied as they come as well; me - country, him rock! Del has never had a broken bone, I have...our family structure, we both have 5 kids in our family - I am the youngest, he is one of the oldest! He comes from a divorced family, I do not! I have had many, many jobs, he has not!

Del and I |
It isn't all about how many brand new supplies we purchase and use that makes our pages - it's the reason behind the page in the first place! This original idea was found in Our Family Scrapbooks by Lisa Bearnson and Becky Higgins. It is a great book for sure, with great ideas! Lisa was kind enough to send Marcy and Angie out to my house, who really helped me to get my head on straight from a bad time... I love being able to check out their pages, made from inspiration from these two women!
For the album itself, I used papers and embellishments I already had at home. I am still trying to locate the perfect 6 x 6 album to put the papers in, but to date, have yet to find what I really want! We are going to spend some time this year in finishing up the album, and showcasing it, instead of shoving it all in a closet for people to NOT see! Each set of pages are designed so both Del and I can
write what we want to - in our own handwriting, which will make the creation that more special! Each album created would be different - as different supplies will be used to finish them up! If you are on a budget, make a card and a nice album for you and your husband, and spend a night doing something together! Life isn't about spending a ton of money, it's about spending the time you have wisely!
