Hidden journaling is one of the funnest ways you can add journaling to your layouts, things you might not want everyone in the world to see. If you look at the layout on the left, you don't really see any journaling. Under my baby photo is the journaling you see underneath - hidden so the world can't see everything there is to know about me! Some things are not meant to be for the world to see - they are meant to just be written!
When I first created this layout - I looked at myself and wondered if I was switched at birth. I didn't look like my mom, or my dad - so really who was I? Well, by the end of this layout - I knew who I was -
Supplies
Extra sheet of cardstock the same color as the main base of the cardstock you are using.
White cardstock for the inside
Glue
Journaling supplies
Directions:
Step one: Decide the background papers you are using. You will need an extra one in order to cut down for the hidden part.
Step two: Cut third sheet of paper 1" larger on the side. Fold down the side and then glue underneath the page you want it to be in.
Step three: Add your journaling to the open flaps using the directions from the beginner journaling post!
Step four: Finish decorating the top of the layout as you normally would.
By using hidden journaling, you can get more aspects and things on your pages, and some of that journaling can be hidden for some people to not see! Sometimes when it comes to your journaling, you want to write, and not worry about what your are writing, in order to get it out of your head. By using hidden aspects you can get more out of your layouts by having things hidden!
