Making cards -

This is going to be a great week, so make sure you check back often!  Starting tomorrow, I am in a blog hop in Remembrance of 9/11...it's all about cards from Monday till Wednesday...a two day Fall related blog hop on Thursday and Friday...and a wonderful card hop/sketch on Saturday and Sunday!!!  So a fun week of giveaways and blog hops so make sure you join me all week long!!!   I'm a bit behind on a few other giveaways - so if you are expecting something from me - things have been crazy with me in school right now, so bear with me!!!   I am really behind!!!

Cards can be one of the best ways you can save money - by learning to make your own!  I started making cards about 21 years ago, where I discovered rubber stamps and what they could do.  I spent years collecting so many stamps - half of which I have never used!   I started taking a few classes - and shopping from representatives from Close to my Heart and Stampin' Up, collected just about everything I could... and then moved back home to Utah!

In 1997, scrapbooking was just becoming huge - they didn't know much about stamping there - it was all about those scrapbooks!!!  So, my sister and I went to a couple of classes - and I went home and reorganized all of my stamping and scrapbooking supplies so they were combined, instead of separated...and wow - I learned that you can use both supplies for each other and really - it's ok!!!  I use my stamps for my scrapbook pages, and my die cuts for my cards...and it looks good!!!   Once you start saving your scraps, you can save even more money!!!

Cards are fun to do - certainly one of a kind of you use scraps...and can be made using scrapbook or stamping supplies.  Enjoy making them - and make sure you check back this week for a bunch of great ideas!!
