My favorite project from the heart.....

My favorite project from the heart.....
would be my Grandma's Recipe's album I am doing right now.  If ever I have ever done a work from the heart, it's this one...  I'm sure everyones Grandma is remarkable...mine was not any different.  When you were around her, she stopped what she was doing to make sure she gave you a hug and a kiss hello!  Even Grandpa - who passed away 20 years ago this June would give you the biggest bear hug you could get!  He was always outside in yard or in the garden when you came over...the yard was always immaculate, like Grandma's house was.  Wow, I really miss them...
A few years ago, I had gotten an album from my sister - a paper album made of Grandma's recipe's.  I will always cherish what Debbie made me, and wanted my kids to have the same thing.  After much prodding, pleading... begging... asking...she sent a copy of her recipe's to me, so I could scrapbook them digitally.
If you look on my review page, you will see a review on Digital Software that I have done.  They have the best software I have used...very user friendly - and a few free kits you can play with.  Plus they have tutorials to help you along the way!  Everything I have scrapped digitally is made from their software and free kits, I have not spent money - though they have a lot of darling kits I want to purchase.  What I love about this company the most, they have a free version of the software - so you can play before purchasing!
Guys won't scrapbook...will I tell you it's a great stress re-leaver, oh you bet...check out this post from my new blog...talking about the affects of stress, what it does to you, and what you can do to help it.   But let me tell you, scrapbooking through the hard times whether you are a man or a woman sure helps.
I have a lot of projects I have done that I truly love...but this one, when it is finished, will not only be for my children, but also my cousins, their kids, my siblings children...and any other family member that would like the to remember her by.  After this one, I was asked by my mom to make her an album (which she ruined my surprise let me tell you.....), which is an honor to say the least.
I hope you enjoy my week of favorites...I have one more project I want to share...my favorite mini album project I have done to date!   Saturday will be all about my favorite products I like to use, so make sure you check this out!  And next week is all about mom's projects...  I'm making 2 darling albums for my mom and sister for this fun day...and hopefully this time I will get time to make the cards I want to...Enjoy your day,
Lynda Jeffs
