ļ»æThe world according to...........(add your name)! This was an entirely way fun project I made, of course in a 6 x 6 format! At the time of making this, I was going to submit it for one of the last Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame contests...but like normal, the time to submit escaped me, instead I will use it on my blog...as a challenge!!!! Your "challenge" for the week...is to do a layout or mini project..."The world according to...YOU"!
ļ»æThe size is 6 x 6 - on the left side, I added a strip of paper to allow for the two holes to be punched where the album will be put together. This part goes underneath the front cover to make it so I can open the pages up in a book fashion. You don't see the strip of paper, it is only there to hold each of the two pages.
ļ»æOn each of the pages, there is little blurbs...how life should be, according to ME! Everyone has those little things they have been taught, or how they are...this is just a scrapbook mini album to reflect the way I am...and why! I used a lot of basic tools and equipment, not wanting to spend a lot of time on the project...it's about the memories, the reasons for the album in the first place!
Some of the pages have pictures...and others, have just words. My parents have been a part of the Lions Organization since I was just a little girl...so, for as long as I can remember! I learned through them, that it just isn't about you and your little life, it's what you can do for someone else too! I have seen first hand the people they have affected, by the service they shown to others. ļ»æ
The papers I selected for this fun project was from Fancy Pants Designs... I am in love with their papers, let me tell you! I also used a matching sticker set from their line... however glancing at their site, I am only seeing papers... However, do not let that deter you, using basic cardstock in matching colors with patterned papers together can create darling one of a kind embellishments for your projects!
This album was done quite a few years ago, if it were to be "redone" today, my list of "according to Lynda's" would be quite a bit different. I have learned to heal with people I thought I never, EVER would...and am happy to do so! I have learned to be me again, that happy person I was BEFORE.....only better! Please share with me your idea of "Life according to.....YOU"!
