Each set of pages are made with a different technique, but the egg shape is what ties it all together. Most of the pages do not even have a saying or title on them - but you know it is an Easter album just by the front cover and embellishments, so no need to have a title on each set of pages! For the page at the very top, I used a bunny stamp, an oval template, created my own type of embellishment and added a simple purple tag to match the layout. I wanted to decide if I was adding a photo to each of the pages or adding just words to some of the areas to document the day! I like to make sure something ties each of the pages together as you can see - with the egg shape here. I used a simple balloon punch, and then cut the tails off...this way I didn't have to spend money on just an "egg" shape and could use this one for any type of celebration type of pages that I do! The pages all coordinate by using the same type of things to use for embellishments, along with the bunny stamps that create the cute embellishments for the project. Though
I do not have a picture of the entire project with the ribbon through it - you can see the hole's that are on the side. After the album is finished up, put the ribbon and floss through the hole's to keep the creation together in one place. I like to do this part after I have finished up the entire project with journalling and photos so that it looks better and I don't have to worry about cutting down the photos to size.
Mini albums have always been one of my favorite albums to make, especially themed albums such as this Easter album. I love using my stamps to create one of a kind things, and then using those same stamps to use on a fun card or something down the line! I love using scraps left over from this project for other things, such as cards and bookmarks! Here is the directions to complete this album, my supplies are what I have available to me - look at what you have and make your own style of album based on the directions here.
