Card sketch blog hop

Welcome to the 2nd Sketch Blog Hop. The first hop last month was so popular we decided to do it again!!! The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you've never used a card sketch before, give it a try! Be sure to check on Saturday's blog for even more ideas on day 1!!!  So sit back & be inspired!

For my idea today (and make sure you check back tomorrow for even more fun ideas on this hop) is another card using up scraps!  I used this sketch a bit differently, and turned the card the other way, instead of length wise as it is now.

I used more scraps of paper from other projects, and die cuts put together with buttons in the middle of them.  For the middle piece, I used a simple square from the same cartridge I used in yesterdays project, and backed it with the fun polka dot paper used here.  The only other color used was the ivory from the saying and the flowers to create visual interest.

As you can tell, just because a sketch might call for one shape, you can always change that shape, and put it to what you want to.  Someone might have their way of looking at it, you can have yours!  I hope you have enjoyed these two days worth of sketches!
