We had to go to Walmart the other day - man there are times I hate that place, I am sure you understand my meaning... Children running around without parents, or they are yelling because they "want something"... I used to drag all 3 kids to the store to get groceries, but being a single mom - what else do you do!!! So, here we are by the paint section - Better Homes and Gardens with Glidden Paint, have came up with pamphlets that you can grab, to check out different color selections they have available... I picked a couple out, warm colors and cool colors, with colors on the back of the page. Great to pick out colors that go well together - and to learn more about different colors too!
They had 2 other pamphlets that I took home, one titled Home Trends and the other is Dream in Color. Each of them will give you really neat color trends that can help you with your scrapbooking and card making projects. I loved how they put different colors together to use this season!
So, your challenge for this weekend - is to find inspirations somewhere that you normally wouldn't.....in a magazine ad, colors in a book, or even just the way a title is done somewhere! Draw it out, or make sure you keep track of the idea - I use 3 x 5 cards with information put down about the idea - for use later on - whatever you do, is great as long as you DO IT. Scrapbooking isn't really that hard, it's just hard keeping track of all the ideas you want to do - or the colors you want to use! But that sure helps when you do have the time to create, or a project you want to make. Have a great day - we'll talk to you later with a project!
