My Vertical Paper Bag Idea -

Last weekend I went to 2 blog hops...  I'm not sure in which one I got this idea - I think I actually seen it on both hops - but I am not positive!  Either way - the following idea is all because of THAT - one of the hops!  I went onto YouTube.com and found mysistersscrapper and watched the series of video's before I even started on the "creation".  I have scrapbooked for 15 years but have never done a paper bag album...I am now hooked!  This gal has a bunch of video's...you want to start at this particular one and go all the way through...  I'm not going to give you the directions because of hers!

For the first page, you want to start here!  This is pages 4 and 5 - for the entire project I used the following supplies:

6 paper bags

K&Company TC Cottage Garden paper
Page 4
Colorbok white cardstock
Unknown brand red, yellow and green cardstock
K&Company Grand Adhesions stickers
K&Company stickers unknown "name"
K&Company Susan Winget die cut cardstock & acetate
Basic Grey Designer Rub-ons
Making Memories pockets
Pressed Petals real flower confetti
Dimensional pop dots
Family Treasures corner punch
Paper trimmer w/score attachment
Recollections rhinestone stickers
Misc. buttons
Making Memories Decorative Brads (square and circles)
Sizzix die cut machine - tags, Wildcard & Envelope Bitty Daisy, Flower #1, Flower #6    Sizzlets, Leaf Stem, Flower Power #2

Page 5
Page 4 is the back of of the bag...basically
page 1 is the top of the foldout piece that you stick under the flap, with pages 2 and 3 being the insides of the page.  Page 5 would be the top of the foldout piece for the next set of pages!  With page 4 you have the pocket, which is actually the bottom of the bag that allows for the pocket.  For this page, I used the pocket - with the vine and flowers coming out of it, a simple tag at the top, and a fun tag!

Page 5 is created like the front cover - with the front piece being able to open to the side as in the example for the front cover.  It also has the same pocket with the little book in it..made for journaling or smaller photo's if you wanted to!  I loved how I could add so many photos and journaling to the page itself...with a potential of 3 photos on the front piece, and at least another 2-3 in the piece in the pocket at the top!  Then - as you need to, add more of the larger photo matt's!  I have loved this album, and can't wait to share the rest of it with you!
Thanks for stopping by!!!!
