Last weekend I went to 2 blog hops... I'm not sure in which one I got this idea - I think I actually seen it on both hops - but I am not positive! Either way - the following idea is all because of THAT - one of the hops! I went onto YouTube.com and found mysistersscrapper and watched the series of video's she has before I even started on the "creation". I have scrapbooked for 15 years but have never done a paper bag album...I am now hooked! This gal has a bunch of video's...you want to start at this particular one and go all the way through... I'm not going to give you the directions because of hers!
If you missed yesterday's idea, just click on this link! This is the 2nd and 3rd page - for the entire project I used the following supplies:
6 paper bags
K&Company TC Cottage Garden paper
Colorbok white cardstock
Unknown brand red, yellow and green cardstock
K&Company Grand Adhesions stickers
K&Company stickers unknown "name"
K&Company Susan Winget die cut cardstock & acetate
Basic Grey Designer Rub-ons
Making Memories pockets
Pressed Petals real flower confetti
Dimensional pop dots
Family Treasures corner punch
Paper trimmer w/score attachment
Recollections rhinestone stickers
Making Memories Decorative Brads (square and circles)
Sizzix die cut machine - tags, Wildcard & Envelope Bitty Daisy, Flower #1, Flower #6 Sizzlets, Leaf Stem, Flower Power #2
As you are looking at page one, you open it up to what you see above. On the left side - it is the band type of pocket that she used...so it is only attached on the left and right side, but not anywhere else. For the right side - I added a simple tag created with my Sizzix machine, and the flower to finish up the look. Above it - you can see the simple flower in the white box - it folds out like in this photo. Each of the inside pages will look like this - with the foldout piece. Another place to put journaling or photos, along with the pocket band and the pocket space above.
This was such a fun album to make - I can't wait to share the rest of it with you and to get the next one I am planning - started! Come back tomorrow to see pages 4 and 5, which would be the first two pages that you open up to - after the foldout page! I hope you enjoy my idea!
Thanks for stopping by!!!
