Monthly Reminder Challenge - April

Procrastination - absolutely something I do so well that my picture is totally right next to the word in the dictionary!!!!  Then I look at some of my family members from siblings to cousins who all say they do the same thing...procrastinate and I have decided I am in good company with the rest of them!  However, I have decided to DO something about it instead of just griping about it!!!
Every month on the 15th you will get a reminder post - much like this one...to look at your calendar for the next 6 weeks!  Do you have any events you need to work on, things that you need to finish up, or gifts you need to make/purchase?  Now is the time to grab a notebook or piece of paper and start to write down the things you have going on!!!

Here's my list:

  1. Birthday card for Brian - Del's brother by 4/14
  2. Birthday card for Del's mom Janice by 4/20
  3. Birthday card for Lynda's mom Carolyn by 4/23
  4. Mothers Day cards for Janice, Carolyn, Debra and Allison by 5/12
  5. Anniversary cards for Allison & Grant and Mark & Joyce by 5/9 & 10
  6. Grandma Tuckett's recipe album by 5/13
  7. Anniversary card for my remarkable husband Del by 5/8
  8. Presents for birthday's, Mothers Day and my anniversary should time allow
LOL but man I do believe I better get started on the cards for sure...Much to do, and where the "procrastination" part for me comes in - I tend to shut down when I have a lot to do!!!  So - I try to change this by writing down what needs to get done, and plan to get things done earlier and mailed out on time in the coming months!
Extra challenge - Christmas is in a little over 8 months...  If you are like me - on a budget...start to challenge yourself to get things made or bought earlier - while things are on sale and you can get them...versus at Christmas time when things are way more expensive than they should.  I know for me - I have got to get a list going and work on them earlier in the month - or things just won't get done!  This year - THINGS WILL GET DONE!!!
Until next time,
Lynda Jeffs
