My Vertical Paper Bag Idea -
Last weekend I went to 2 blog hops... I'm not sure in which one I got
this idea - I think I actually seen it on both hops - but I am not
positive! Either way - the following idea is all because of THAT - one of
the hops! I went onto YouTube.com and found mysistersscrapper and watched the series of video's
before I even started on the "creation". I have scrapbooked for
15 years but have never done a paper bag album...I am now hooked! This
gal has a bunch of video's...you want to start at this particular one and go all the way through...
I'm not going to give you the directions because of hers!
We are almost done! I hope by now you have watched the video's...and at least gotten a bit of inspiration from my project and others! I am like the gal in the video when she said this is becoming her favorite album to do - I understand why!
Page 20 has the same tag in the pocket - and an envelope with a small book inside on the flap of the tag! You can see how each "flap" is different, even if I did the same type of thing! I also added the tag with the flower to it!
With page 21, you can see the same flowers, only I put two of them on the bottom instead of just one, and a flower at the top of the little booklet with the 3 little gems! I love the pocket - and the ability to add more photos! If I wanted to, I could create an accordion style foldout to add more photos, but that will depend on the reason I end up using it in the first place! With 8 kids, 7 grandkids and 2 more on the way - I'm sure I can find something to add to it!
Now remember - you want to scroll down to the post on 4/28 for pages 22 and 23! Tomorrow's post will be the last page - with a video of the cover - front, back and inside front and back to follow shortly! This way I can show you all the intricate pieces like she did! I hope you've enjoyed...and see you tomorrow!
