We can guarantee LOTS of SPARKLE and SHINE for this Ho-ho-holiday event... So let's get hopping!! You are at the beginning of the hop - so lets get started with today's hop!!!
For the hop today, I'm sharing part of my Christmas photos and how I do the entire Christmas photos I take.
For this first set of layouts - I do a pocket page to put all of the cards I get that year. I put all of the photos I get from my family, and the various cards I end up getting that year. To me it is just easier to do things this way, in order to have a place for all of the cards!
As for the rest of the pages, I love to make sure I use the same type of embellishments on each of the pages I end up doing - this way everything looks like it belongs for that particular year. I usually will write up a thing about that year - and what all happened, versus the journaling on each page. Not having a "traditional family" my pictures involve step-children, my children, and my husband - this year was one of the years my other two kids went with their dad in California - which is always hard for me! When I use paper piecing patterns or patterned die cuts - I love to also add embellishments to them to add visual interest - such as the buttons on the bear! Learn to take basic things and make them your own! I hope you check back tomorrow for the rest of this project! Christmas is meant to be fun - enjoy this holiday season!
Thank you again for checking out my project... Next up on your hop is Gill and you can follow the links below and remember to visit all the stops for MAXIMUM ideas and LOTS OF FUN!!
