     I started scrapbooking around 13 years ago or so, my first project - was my 2nd wedding album!  My first stamping project was my almost 21 year old daughters' birth announcements - so I've been around a while now!  I decided to start Memories in Tyme to show people how easy it is to create.   I am now certified to teach through EK Success' Spotted Canary program, as well as now teaching at Michael' s Arts & Crafts at a local Denver area store!  I am excited to say the least, and can see all my hard work starting to pay off - especially since being here in Colorado!        Now - if you are expecting something from me in the mail - I am really behind right now!  Life has just thrown me some interesting curve balls, in which I am trying to figure out how to deal with them!  I am also in school full time, plus started a new job...Life for me is just nuts, and things that needed to get done has NOT been done! ...

I t's that time again.....time to look at the upcoming events  you have in your life for the next 6 weeks...   Whether you have birthday's, weddings, showers, or fun fall events planned, grab your calendar and start to look at what you need to make, purchase, send off, or what have you!        Our economy really stinks right now, I've been living it for a long time... and learned a few things along the journey until now.  Take time to look at what you have going on so you can get started on things early - instead of at the last minute...  Start to look at the calendar for things you need to deal with until November 8th!  This way, you can start getting things you need to - put together, in order to get things completed on time!   My main problem in life - (I am so like my mom) - I procrastinate - and pretty soon, what I "wanted" to do - doesn't get done because I didn't spend the time to get things done that I needed to W...

It's that time again - time to take a look at your Christmas planning!!  You have 4 months from today until Christmas - so you really should start to look at the lists and things you have started already, in order to keep it going!  Taking a bit of time now and plan things out - how many cards you need to send, or how many gifts you need to make or purchase, or even parties you need to go to in order to prepare for gifts for the hostess or cooking something - will only help the stress level THEN!!!   If you go and purchase a bit of extra flour, sugar, and baking goods - your finances are not going to take a huge hit closer to that time!!!   Plus if you take a bit of extra time now to get things made, you can spend Christmas time in enjoying the season instead of making a bunch of stuff or shopping!!  Try to look at each person, and personalize a special gift you make just for them!  It sure helps that stress level at the end of the year, let me tell...

       I recently took a free class on Big Picture Scrapbooking  web site, and absolutely loved the experience I had during this 12 days while the class took place!  With this particular class, we were given a word a day and we had to do a layout based on that word.  Now, some words were fun to do - others, well, lets just say it was very hard to do layouts on certain words that they had!        I used My Memories Suite software - ( review listed here - ) on all the layouts, which made it simple, not only for the class, but for learning the software!  As you sign up for Big Picture Scrapbooking, you can take a free course to get used to the feel of it.  The link above will get you all the free classes they have to offer right now, and they even have a lot of self paced classes that you can pay for and then take when you have the time.        I'm all for free - you know that, so for B...
