It's all about remembering the events in your life... Each month I will send you a monthly reminder to look at the events and things that you have coming up this month. Do you need a special gift, birthday cards, or an anniversary card to make or buy? Make sure you look at your list of dates and put them on your calendars! I know for me, I don't have much of anything in January, but my sons birthday is February 3rd, so I would put this on my list for this month, but the other birthday we have on February 24th would be in Februarys list as well as Valentines day. However, I do like to get started on things early, so I will probably start to look at designs and cards now for this! You can also look at the events for the next 2 months if you'd like, to be able to fit everything in that you would want to! Then in February look at March and Aprils events....or you can do 6 weeks at a time.....do whatever is easier for YOU personally, it's all about getting it done!
If you are looking at purchasing a few cards, let me know... A box of 30 cards categorized in 10 different categories includes 3 of each category is available for $40, designed with your gift recipient in mind! Categories available are Anniversary/Wedding, Baby, Birthday, Friendship, Get Well, Just Because, Notecards, Sympathy, Thinking of You, and Thank You. Holiday cards available during the months leading up to it. Plus they are included in an exclusive members only cards and prices club, with special designs and prices exclusive to them for enrolling in the club! They will get an email once a month to look at the events and things in their life, to order the cards they need! This way, they will always have a card on hand for the times when they need it the most! Best way to order the box of cards is email me at LyndaJinco@gmail.com to let me know what you are wanting to order and by when! This way you have given me enough time to get things done!
Handmade gifts are always a sure fire way to lighten up someones life! Choose a favorite picture or two, find the mini album challenge posted on 1/2/11 for directions and create a cute mini album with pictures of you and the gift recipient, add a bit of journalling to showcase why that person is special to you....and you are done! Events are always fun to go to if you plan things a bit early, showing up with a card and small gift instead of rushing out to get one at the last minute. Spending a night while you are watching the Bachelor (or other fun show) making cards is certainly the way to go! Look at fun color combo's, and look outside the norm for fun ideas as well!
I hope you enjoy this monthly reminder....I know for me it sure gets things kick started into what I need and want to do. My list....make a get well card for an Aunt (and mail it....), make a birthday card for my son, make a few "thinking of you" cards to send to a few people, and start on Valentines cards and projects. What are your plans for the month?
