Challenge Reminders

I hear it all the time, "I don't have time to scrapbook".  Ok, if you don't have time to do just two pages a month, add a few photos and journalling to it, then you really are a busy person.  Scrapbooking is not hard, and it is a great way to really showcase your memories.  I understand people have a life, you might not be into this craft as I am...but, I will tell you even just doing this basic album will help you to showcase your memories.

To get started, make sure you check out this original post on the monthly challenge.   You just need an album (your choice of size, mine is 12 x 12 to allow more than enough room for everything)...papers and embellishments to match.  A full list is included in the original post, so make sure you check it out.  Each month all you need to do is 2 pages, the title page, and side 2 page to match.  Throughout the month, journal specifics about things that happened that you want to showcase...anything that happened, such as finding out about being pregnant...or having a baby?  What about anniversaries, or other birthdays...what about finding a new job, or seeing someone for the first time in a long time?   This album style will allow you to just get your memories out on paper...adding a few fun photos along the way.  Are you big on resolutions, write a few of them down to be able to see how you are doing through the year!

Speaking of New Years Resolutions, have you started on your projects yet?   Check out the original post on this fun project, and make sure you put down on paper what it is you intend on doing this year.  Great way to keep track of things, did you fail miserably, or did you handle things well?  I know for me, I am still tweaking things on the resolutions part...how do I want to showcase things.   Hidden journaling will be for a way to keep track of how I am doing...with the main part for the intention itself.  Through the year, I will add photos of the accomplishments - as some intentions have just carried over from the previous year because I have started to see results!  This year will be that and adding a few other things to it...things I have noticed I need to do!

Make sure you start to look at next months events...Valentines Day is February 14th, so if you need to make things, get started on them early!  I have an early birthday, so cards need to be started on early if I plan on making anything.   I hope you enjoy this edition... I do want to apologize for things just dropping, it is my hopes to get a Shopping Alert post done by tomorrow as there are GREAT specials I have found this week!   I am now in College again, taking 3 classes for 8 weeks just is a bit too much for me, I am in week 3 now, and feel like things are just a mess!  However, at the end of it all, a much smarter me...and then can decide what to do with my dreams and talents!  I hope you enjoy my journey WITH me!
