Start to look at this next months events...birthdays, anniversaries, Thanksgiving, or other type of things like this that are pertinent to your family. Spend a little time today putting things down on a calendar...pretty soon we will be working on a monthly type of calendar to keep track of the events in your life, so you do not miss a thing! If you do not celebrate holidays or birthdays, look at basic cards that you might need to get done...is there someone who is sick, a kid who needs a perk me up, or someone who is moving....make a card for them!!!
I say it a lot, learn to create the cards you need as you are working on the same layout theme. If you already have the supplies out for a birthday layout, create a few cards with the leftovers! This way, you do not need to spend a lot of time in getting stuff put together just to make one card! Stock up while you can, if you know you have a bunch of birthdays coming up, make as many as you can to save time! Oftentimes I spend one day making a bunch of cards to put in my stash!
As you look at your calendar, make sure you pencil in a time to get the cards done. Spend one 30 minute session on putting things together such as the papers and embellishments needed to finish them up. Start to look at card designs for the cards you need to make, or sketches that you want to recreate. This way, you break things down a bit more to get things done as you have the time, instead of when you don't!

Not only do you want to look at this months events...birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, baby showers, or other things like that...start to look at Christmas too. If you have a lot that needs to be made, look at things more seriously! Break up your time a bit, don't start and end the project all in one day, break things up to a more manageable system, so you complete it over time! To do this, simply get a sheet of paper to draw out your thoughts...write out your thoughts, or a combination of both!
