Shopping alert...site alert...

Each week I try to give you places to look at for you crafting needs!   Look at the sales and clearance sections of each of the places, for things YOU are attracted to!   Also learn to look at how YOU create...do you need themes, or ideas included in the packet you purchased, or are you the kind of person who will be able to come up with your own ideas?  Look at each aspect of how you create, and learn to look at ways you can save money!  Just because something is on sale does not mean it is a good buy if you have no idea what you are going to use it for!

Here are a few places that have great specials this week:

Make sure to check out My Craftivity Store for a bunch of great books for you to purchase!  There are a lot on sale, as well as for different types of crafts, so make sure to check them out!   Find a book for that special someone who loves to knit...purchase some supplies like knitting needles, yarn, etc., for them to be able to make different projects!  Ask them fun questions like "what are you planning on making next" in order to help you pick out the perfect gift!

Look into Scrap and Paper Corner Shop for wonderful card magazines and books that you can purchase to get ideas on your Christmas cards you want to make!  Christmas is a little over 2 months away, so if you are planning on making cards, you want to do them soon!  They have great magazines from Paper Crafts, Creating Keepsakes and more!

Paper Wishes has a wonderful catalog available with Fall products and more!  I love their selection of things, and how you can purchase what you need to create a perfect gift, just by the supplies you can purchase from here!  Check out their catalog, and make sure you order one to go to your home!   You also want to check out their Halloween Project Ideas that are just adorable!

You have got to check out Michaels for the great projects they have...ideas are free, for all type of crafts!  My daughter loves to make jewelry...I can find all types of things I can get her for Christmas this year so she can make the things she likes to do!  The ideas they have, and the kits they have available would be great for just about anyone who loves to craft!   Also look at the art isle for just about anything you would want for the artist in your life.  My husband draws extremely well, so for him...a set of drawing pencils, or chalks to help him out!  Make sure you sign up for your emails that will send you a coupon for 40% off...not only did I get that today, but also 20% off Martha Stewart purchases with a coupon!

If you stumble when you scrapbook, and need a sketch or road map to help you out, make sure to check out Scrapbooks Etc. for their sketches!  I am telling you, they have 8.5 x 11 and 12 x 12...Single and Double page layouts...    Plus they have paper piecing patterns, which we will be talking about the next few weeks...with an article upcoming on Ezine articles!   Use code EK405 to get 40% off all EK Success brand items bought at their store!  Offer ends 10/25/10, so you have a little over a week!

For those of us who are still in the dark ages and use our Sizzix machine (which I totally love by theway......), you have got to check out the Sizzix holiday dies that are available to you this year!  The gingerbread man is just as cute as can be.....they also have lights, phrases and a really cute candy cane I have got to buy!

Another great place to check out for ideas is Better Homes and Gardens which surprises me every time I get their email!  They always have great ideas, cheap ideas...cooking ideas, crafting ideas, and more!  You will be on this site all the time for different ideas!  Check them out, they even have craft ideas you can make with the "how to's"....plus they have videos you can watch too!

To close, this week I share with you a fun newsletter...  My Minds Eye is a fun company that has great paper products...  I used to love living in Utah so I could go to the Scrapbook Expo and spend money on their products.  One year I was able to purchase 6 x 6 albums for cheap...another year, a whole kit of supplies, in which I am still using!  Check out their newsletter this month, and make sure you sign up for one yourself!

If you struggle with being creative, then you need to check out this article from Paper Clipping.....The One Thing You Need To Do To Be Creative.  Make sure to join her site for wonderful emails all about creating!   This is one site I would totally recommend you join!

For those of you with girls who just love the American Girls, you have got to check out the American Girls scrapbook collection just for you to scrapbook them and their dolls!   Can you imagine being able to finally do a layout with the same paper...or invitations to a tea party....or just about anything!  They have kits, papers, stamps, and punches...if you have a girl who likes to create with you, totally check out their line!  Two Peas In A Bucket also has a fun message board, challenges, and they address both digital and paper scrapbooking!  They have been around for years...check them out!
