National Scrapbook Day

Today is National Scrapbook Day...what are YOUR plans?  Well, since I am recuperating from recent knee replacement surgery, I am home and playing on the internet - versus going out to a store for a crop!  Next year though - I've got a whole day retreat in the planning stages - including great classes, food and inspiration planned that should be a lot of fun!!!
Today though - here are a few things I have planned that I need/want to work on (though I am not sure what all will get done...):

  • Handmade card packs to sell
  • Mini notebook for my purse
  • Altered Telephone/Address book for my purse
  • Altered box to hold cat treats
  • Altered box to hold all my stupid medicine
  • Stephanie's purple notebooks to give to Jessie and Heather
  • Ideas for the pictures of our trip through Utah June/2012
  • Ideas for the pictures of Del's birthday visit to Old Sacramento City
  • Ideas for the pictures of Del and Ryan's graduation
  • Ideas for the pictures of Casey through the years
  • Ideas for the pictures of Terra through the years
  • Ideas for the pictures through the mountains on the way to Sacramento
Now, I'm not sure how much will actually GET done - but I hope to at least have a few things finished by the end of the weekend!  My scanner is working now, so I will be able to scan some of the fun things I have planned!  And you never know, my list might end up changing a bit as I get things done and I look in to other ideas I have planned out!

Your first challenge for the day today - (more challenges to follow on the Facebook Fanpage) - is to finish ONE PROJECT you have needed to finish for a while...  Whether it is a mini album, a scrapbook page/layout spread, a card, bookmark - whatever your project is...just get it done!  I have about 50 cards to make that I might start with, and then work my way down my list above!  I haven't wanted to create lately...and now, can't seem to stop!

I hope you enjoy your creative day!  I'm off to get some creating done!
