New Years Resolutions Blog Hop

New Years Hop

Welcome to the "New Year's Resolutions" Blog Hop!!

We're so happy you could join us for this super-fun hop showcasing cards, layouts and projects that feature our New Year's Hopes, Dreams, and Commitments!!  You'll find an array of ideas throughout the hop -- From decorations to gift ideas and more, we hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way!!

We can guarantee LOTS of inspiration for this event... So let's get hopping!!  You are at the beginning of the hop so lets get things started folks!

For the hop today, I've created a few layouts for my "intentions".  One thing I love is digital scrapbooking - because of the ease of use!  The software I used is from Daisy Trails which also has free scrapbook kits as well that you can play with!   I love being able to play with the background papers, and the embellishments that I normally wouldn't be able to use otherwise - and I can use them in different ways, with different kits, etc!  My plan with this album, is to continue a monthly layout at the end of each month journaling how I did that particular month with my "intentions".  This way, I am held accountable to myself, and what I want to accomplish.  As I work through "these intentions" and I feel they are going well - then I will add "others" that I need to work on - to be a better person by the end of 2012!

Now for the fun "blog candy" - you must follow my blog and leave a comment about what your "resolutions or intentions" are to be eligible, as well as leave a comment on all the blog participants' blogs!!!  One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift card to Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or online shopping place of their choice to be drawn at the end of January!!!

Thank you again for checking out my project...  Now follow the links below and remember to visit all the stops for MAXIMUM ideas and LOTS OF FUN!!

  1. Happy HEALTHY New Year Lynda! Thanks so much for creating this hop and for sharing your inner most heartfelt INTENTIONS! I was deeply touched by your journaling and my wish for you is ALL that you wish for and so much more. I have realized as well, if we don't have our health, we affect ALL those around us.
    Creative wishes,

  2. I think it is great that you are working on yourself! We all could stand to do that I think. The fact that you have scrapped your "intentions" I would think would help you stick to them..Best of luck with your hard work in 2012..

  9. I love your creation of "intentions" and how you plan to hold yourself accountable. I am not a huge fan of resolutions so I created a simple project on my blog that has a few of my crafty priorities. Would love for you to check it out.
