We can guarantee some psychedelic excitement for this event... So since I am the beginning, let's get hopping!! For the hop today, I've created a layout of me when I was in 1st grade back in 1970-1971!!!! For me - it's the memory that comes with the time period! It is a digital layout, made with Serif Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 software and free kits! (They even have a free version you can download too - craft artist.)
Now for the fun "blog candy" - you must follow my blog and leave a comment about what your favorite part of the 70's are to be eligible, as well as leave a comment on all the blog participants' blogs!!! One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift card to Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or online shopping place of their choice to be drawn at the end of January!!!
Thank you again for checking out my project... Now follow the links below and remember to visit all the stops for MAXIMUM ideas and LOTS OF FUN!! Can ya dig it???

I was born in 1971 so a lot of what I 'remember' from the 70s has been provided by stories.
ReplyDeleteFor me, the best part of the 70s was the summer of 76 - waterfights every day and my neighbour had a HUGE paddling pool in her garden!
Hi Lynda, Cute page to help you remember the good ol days! Now, you can work on the next 3 decades...LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing,

Great Layout, I graduated, got married, turned 18 and became a mother in 1976. that is the most memorable year of the seventies for me. Lots of milestones that year.

ReplyDeleteLynda love your layout with the flowers. Love the way the paper looks like someone dry brushed it with paint. I graduated from High school when you were in first grade. LOL
ReplyDeleteFun project. I wish I still had some photos like this. I was born in 1970, and all I can say is thank goodness those clothes my mom dressed me in are long gone. Remember plaid pants? and big ole collars on the shirts? lol My favorite part of the 70's was rollerskating.
