Welcome to the "All About the 70's" Blog Hop!!

     We're so happy you could join us for this super-fun hop showcasing cards, layouts and projects that feature anything and everything related to the 70's!!   So pull out your bell-bottoms and peace signs, and join us for the FUN...  You'll find an array of ideas throughout this hop -- From decorations to gift ideas and more, we hope you'll enjoy each and every GROOVY project along the way!!  This is a TWO-DAY hop, so be sure to check it all out (besides, we have a FAR OUT prize for a random someone who visits and comments on each stop for each day!!)... We can guarantee some psychedelic excitement for this event... So since I am the beginning, let's get hopping!!  
     For the hop today, I've created a layout of me when I was in 1st grade back in 1970-1971!!!!  For me - it's the memory that comes with the time period!  It is a digital layout, made with Serif Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 software and free kits!  (They even have a free version you can download too - craft artist.)

  2. I was born in 1971 so a lot of what I 'remember' from the 70s has been provided by stories.

    For me, the best part of the 70s was the summer of 76 - waterfights every day and my neighbour had a HUGE paddling pool in her garden!

  7. Great Layout, I graduated, got married, turned 18 and became a mother in 1976. that is the most memorable year of the seventies for me. Lots of milestones that year.

  9. Love your Layout! We must be about the same age. I think I was in the First Grade in 69 or 70. My favorite part of the 70s. Is just getting to be a Kid and having Fun. It was so much different then than it is now. :0)

  12. Lynda love your layout with the flowers. Love the way the paper looks like someone dry brushed it with paint. I graduated from High school when you were in first grade. LOL

  13. Fun project. I wish I still had some photos like this. I was born in 1970, and all I can say is thank goodness those clothes my mom dressed me in are long gone. Remember plaid pants? and big ole collars on the shirts? lol My favorite part of the 70's was rollerskating.

  19. I love your layoutwhat a great momento, You were five and I was nearly 25. I am enjoying digital layouts the craft is growing on me.The Birth of my daughter has to be my most preciouse memory of that time period!
