On the last stop, that is Tanya's blog our hostess...she has an awesome giveaway!  To be eligible, you MUST leave a comment on everyone's blog and then at the final step of the hop (at Tanya's blog) you need to tell her what book you have been wanting to read but just haven't quite gotten to it yet!!!!

Now for my idea:

Books have always been an important part of my life, especially as I was going through one of the hardest times in my life.  I remember going to my bookshelf and looking for something to read one day.  Normally I would read love stories to just take my mind off of my pathetic life, but this day j- it was as if my grandmother was on the other side, hitting me with this book and telling me "Here, you need to read THIS ONE"!
I read the book Secrets to Life Every Woman Should Know - of which I was instantly in love with Barbara!  I then read How Did I Get Here based on an email sent back to me from Barbara.  I have read and reviewed so many wonderful books - and have gotten hooked on many authors along the way.  I hope you spend time reading to your children, something I wish I would have done more for mine!  Now, next up on your stop is going to be Amy Jo, so make sure you go and check out what she's been up to for this hop!!!

  1. Beautiful layouts Lynda. I love the font you used and papers. I have only read one of Barbara's books. I will have to add more to my reading list. Thanks for sharing a book that changed your life!

  3. Hi Lynda! I live in Fort Collins and just realized you live in Denver! Once a month or so I meet another bloggy friend at the Archiver's in Westminster. Let me know if you'd be interested in going! :) I love your layouts and it's so true about God placing things in your life when you need them. There have been MANY books that have gotten to me at just the right time and I'm sure it was Divine Intervention at work! TFS and so happy to be in this awesome hop with you!
