Wow...with the holidays coming up, you have your pick of products and price ranges to choose from. If you are on Facebook, research your favorite products to see if they have a Fanpage so you can keep track of what they have to offer. I am a fan of Glue Dots, which I am a design team member, and my Memories in Tyme Fan-page where you will get updates on what is going on, and ideas exclusive to Facebook! Facebook is a great way to connect with others...and see what they are up to!
One place I found on Facebook is Oh My Crafts! which gives you great ideas on their blog, as well as wonderful products on their web site that you have got to check them out. They have great sales on their Cricut cartridges, as well as the other products they carry. I love that they are a Utah company...and what they offer to their customers.
If you haven't checked out 100 days of Holidays at Better Homes and Gardens, you truly should. Cooking ideas, decorating ideas, and craft ideas all in one area to help you out with your holiday shopping, cooking and more! Great site all around, but even better with this page!
If you want a gift that truly keeps giving all year long, tell your spouse about the Paper Wishes kits in different themes such as templates, scrapbooking, stamping, and jewelry to name a few! I would love to enroll my daughter in the jewelry kit each month, so when she receives each kit, she knows how much I care about her! They have got wonderful products, free classes, and you can have them send you a catalog to be able to plan your shopping a bit!
I love ideas, especially from products that you use. Then being able to take that idea and tweak it with what you have at home...and available to you! Check out this great blog by Fiskars for easy tags you can make by using their punches! I will be using this idea and giving you cheap ideas to dress your tags up on little money so check back for those ideas to be posted soon! While you are at Scrapbook.com web site, check out their products and other blogs that are available to you, as well as the message board they have. You can find a ton of people interacting on a daily basis! Talking about products...look what I stumbled across from the wonderful Tim Holtz. I can just picture this as a fun decoration for Christmas or as a decoration for your home! Gotta get me one of these...
If you want to start to learn to digital scrapbook, check out the FREE kits you can get at Two Peas In A Bucket. Not only that, you have got to check out the Basic Grey products they just got in, OMG are you kidding me here, they are going to totally BREAK MY BANK ACCOUNT! I have not used Basic Grey products a lot, and can't wait to get them in my hands! The patterns, the colors...the embellishments....I am in LOVE!
For those of you who do not live close to an Archivers store, they now have an online store! You should check out their products they have, from just about every category! This is different than their main site which is http://www.archiversonline.com/. Make sure to check out the ideas you can get, locations of the stores they have and more!
This next gal has a wonderful talent...check out one idea that was featured on a local Utah show...My Minds Eye which is a great project for Christmas decorations! If you are on Facebook, check out Amber Packer Designs for her darling ideas and projects!
Well folks, this is my alerts for the week...hope you enjoy what I have shared with you! Scrapbooking isn't about who is spending the most money, it's about the projects you do and what it does for you! I know for me, it kept me alive! Here's to creative therapy!
