Welcome to the Christmas in July Blog Hop on July 27th, from 9 am to 11 pm CST. Thank you for joining me to help me celebrate our Christ's birthday. I love all things about Christmas and start planning Christmas as soon as the Christmas tree comes down. So I decided to host this fun celebration with some of the most talented crafters that I know.
I do have a few rules for this hop, in support of each crafter and the time they have put into their work, to be eligible for the "Grand Prize" you MUST visit each blog and leave a comment for each of the gals, and become a follower of my blog, my design team blog at http:// scrappingwithlisadesignsdt.blog spot.com/ . The blog candy is $25 in free files over at http://scrappingwithlisadesigns.com.
If you have just started here at me - go back to the beginning with is Lisa's blog! This hop runs all day long, so you have plenty of time to make it all the way through the hop! Check out each blog and see what each log has to offer for their project! After all it's Christmas in July and who doesn't like Christmas!

Now for my project, I made a card and a tag (file above) out of these files - Rudolph and Snow Surprise Like You and like all of Lisa's files, these two were fun to work with! The button was also made with Rudolph, I wanted to make a tag in which I will print off and add to the presents that I will give away at Christmas time! I am working on other designs, and will have them ready by the end of the month. If you want a copy of the files, make sure you add a message here on the blog and I will make sure to email you a copy of them when I get done! I started with the Rudolph file, added a simple red and green background paper, with a simple font for the "to and from" as well as the "Merry Christmas"!
The other project I worked on was a simple Christmas card that I am going to have printed out and sent to some of my friends and family! Not sure who I am going to choose to print them out, I am looking in to different places now that I want to work with! Will update this for sure! With this creation, I started with Snow Surprise Like You file, added 2 different background papers, along with simple brads - and this creation was done! This file made it so easy to create the card I wanted, without a lot of details that needed to be added, the file was enough for me!
Not only is Lisa offering blog candy - I will be giving away this Christmas Altered Notebook to help you stay organized for this Christmas season. To be eligible for this drawing - you need to leave a comment here with your email address...and be a follower of my blog! Extra entries if you make sure you let me know you are fans of Memories in Tyme on Facebook! Drawing to be held on 8/2/13...and announced both on the fan page and blog!
