I love making cards...it is what I started with - what I really love to do! I love EASY cards... I am not one to sit down and make a one of a kind card that might take me hours on end... Give me something easy so that when I am done, it looks good, and didn't take me forever to create it! With these two cards, I made a simple note card and a Thanks a bunch card...here is the supply list for all 3 days worth of projects:
Supplies I used:
- For the "file" - 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock
- Background paper - 4 different coordinating paper
- 4 cards w/envelopes
- Border punch
- Embossing powder - clear and white
- Ink pad - brown and white
- Brad
- 3D flowers
- Stamps - flower, basket, various sayings
- Crimper (if you have one)
- 3D dots
Step one: Start with the background colors - the brown, then two of the colors. Adhere to the card.
Step two: Using a border punch, use it down each of the sides. Adhere to the card.
Step three: From day one, add the basket to the card, and then 2 of the flowers as well. 3D dot the other two flowers.
Directions Thinking of You card:
Step one: Use brown for the background, and then the flower background paper. Adhere to the card.
Step two: Adhere the first background paper to the card.
Step three: Stamp in brown a "Thanks" type of saying, embossing in clear powder.
Step four: Add a 3D flower to the top left corner with a brad in the middle.
I really enjoyed this card pack, and can't wait to see what you come up with from this basic idea! The directions for the file folder is here - and the directions for day two cards are here! Thanks for stopping by - and enjoy the project!
