Web site

I love web sites, scrapbook and rubber stamp type of sites that can help you to do multiple things...  One site I love to go to for multiple reasons, is http://www.scrapbook.com/.  They have a shopping area, with clearance items, and brand new items...  This is great if you are the kind of person you like to shop online, or don't have a huge selection of stores!

Another perk from this site I like is you have a forum...forums are where you can meet other people that love to scrapbook too!  I stamped before I scrapbooked...but found scrapbooking forums before I found anything for stamping!  Now it seems that a lot of people have combined the two crafts...it's about time I say!  Forums are where you can find challenges, or ideas, or titles to use, or books that are must haves...just about anything, includeing "please say a prayer" type of posts!

You also have a gallery, where you can get ideas from others and post your own ideas too!  As you post your ideas, people will stop by and say something about the item you have posted...it is nice getting compliments on what you make, or at least check out ideas as you are new!

The resource section is free...where you can learn about just about any type of topic, find a blog you like, find quotes or titles, and more.  This site is the most comprehensive where the learning is concerned, in one stop...  Looking in the "articles, tutorials and more" section, showed me even more topics...you could spend hours, or days looking at the different articles in the different sections.

They also have a beginner through advanced section in their classes area, so you can go to the area you are most comfortable being in, learning what you need to and then moving on to other sections...  This makes the most sense, and is exactly how I have planned Memories in Tyme to be...to make it easier to learn in the first place!

Another great section I just discovered is their videos section...where you can look at any type of videos for creating purposes!  I loved Stacey Jullian and the "Keep it Simple" video... amoungst a few others!  I like to look at the idea itself, and then see what to make from it, but not necessarily copying the idea itself.   For those of you who are visual learners, and need to see how something is made, this helps you to see how to make something and then tweak it...to fit what YOU want or need out of the project!

The "my place" section is all about you...put your site, your blog, your creations...and get your place up.  This section is for those that sign up for a free account, with the perks you get, it is more than worth it to sign up for their newsletters and things while you are at it!  You might even find that you have fun learning while you are at it!

So, I hope to see some of you on there, or if you are already there, find me!  My Place at scrapbook.com....just started going back on there, as all the sites I grew with, is no longer there.  This is the best site I have found so far, that will do a bit of everything for you!

This is my opinion about a web site that I actually like and wanted to share with my wonderful readers!
