Every Sunday I will be posting a blog about things I have found this past week...whether it be blogs I have found, sales....or just "stuff" you have got to see, todays post is all about THAT!
My first alert is a blog at scrapbook.com, which is Scrapbook.com blog this link! Now, this blog is the cutest idea using chipboard and ink to finish up the look. I am telling you I can picture a ton of wonderful wall hangings using this technique, and can't wait to play more! This is for sure on my shopping list for things that I want to learn and play with!
Joann's is celebrating National Sewing Month by giving you an additional 10% off your purchase of a Singer brand sewing machine. Using a sewing machine isn't just for "sewing", but also for using it on your pages as well. I use a machine without thread in it to sew the holes I want, and then use floss to sew around the edge I want in a thicker thread!
Shopping at Two Peas In A Bucket is wonderful...let me tell you! This is the best site for digital or paper alike. They also have a ton of ideas, a gallery, and a message board to connect with other scrapbookers! Right now they have darling school theme paper, Halloween paper, and Christmas paper... Enjoy this site, I love getting their newsletter each week showcasing the different layouts or shopping items to look at each week!
Ok, now if you are looking for creating books of any type...this is the place to go. Scrap and Paper Corner has a ton of books for sale, all under $10... Many that are offered are the ones I use in my own personal creating, such as Our Creative Companion Clean & Simple Scrapbooking... They have a few books in my personal library and a few that I am promptly going to pick up this week before everyone else does! The books might have been written when scrapbooking was huge, but...they still have a lot of great information in them!
Paper Wishes has a wonderful catalog, with kits that match...and you can purchase what you need for the project, not a bunch of other stuff. They have template kits, stamp kits, scrapbook kits, clearance items, and basic stuff as well. This is one place that has beautiful stuff, classes to show you how to do things, and specials a lot!
This is Lynda's picks for the week! Watch for more specials and things found this week, and posts on fun projects to make!
