Yesterday in this post, you got the directions to fold the mini album we are going to work on today! I love the papers I used for this project, and all the fun things I have created to go with the scraps I had left over too! One thing I wanted to really share with you - is what all you can do with a few sheets of paper and embellishments!
Supply list:
File folder folded and ready to go
Ink pad (to match your project)
Die cuts (I used Cricut cartridge, George and Basic Shapes)
Papers and cardstock that match
Ribbon
Buckle
Hot glue gun
Adhesive for paper (your choice)
Directions:
Step one: Take your folded file folder - and the ink pad you selected, and go around the edges of each of the folds of the entire file folder. Just the edges, the rest will be covered with paper in the next steps!
Step two: Decide which papers you want to use for the whole project, starting with the front and back cover. As you can see in the photos above, I used the same sheet of paper, just different areas of the paper for both sides. 2 squares will be used from the scraps in step three!
Step three: Picking out coordinating sheets of paper, start to add the papers to the inside of the album at both the top (with some paper tucked inside) and on the top of the flaps. Turn the album over, and also add paper to the insides of the album.
Step four: Taking your glue gun, glue down both the right and left side of the album where the flaps come up so nothing slips out!
Step five: Start to create the bottoms of the inside of the album - you have 4 squares to do! Finish up the back middle 2 (see above photo)!
This album is so colorful, and can be finished up so many different ways and themes! Give it your own personal touch, using your own supplies! Everything I do can be changed a bit, just by using what you have! Check back tomorrow for a set of note card's, all done using the scraps from this project! I have had fun - I hope you have too!
