So this is the project that sparked all of the other projects I have shared the past few days! I absolutely love how this turned out, and wanted to share the basic directions for creating one of your own. This one is up for sale, if you want to purchase it, let me know!
Supply list:
File folder
Patterned and solid papers that match
Various die cuts
Ribbon
Buckle (Optional)
Brown ink pad (Can substitute colors)
The hardest part for me was folding the file folder the right way! Because of that reason, we are going to have this post be continued tomorrow - and today's directions is for folding the file folder the right way, and getting ready for tomorrow's post for finishing it up! Make sure you keep all the scrap pieces of paper, so you can create even more awesome pieces after you are done with this one!
Directions:
Step one: Taking the file folder open it up like the photo below.
Step two: Fold the folder up to the part where the folder goes out. Make sure to crease the fold.
Step three: Fold the folder in half with the pockets towards the outside, like the photo below.
Step four: From the left side, LIGHTLY fold the folder 4". Open it all up.
Step five: For the back fold, take a ruler (or other hard flat edge) - and fold to create the back cover.
Step six: Repeat step five for the front fold to create the front cover, only you will have to fold this one against the natural fold.
The finished creation will look like this -
Check back tomorrow for the basic directions to complete your own album this weekend! There are many things you can do with this style of album! Until next time,
