If you scroll down to yesterday's post, you will get a challenge of sorts - to look through your calendar for events in the next 6 weeks that are coming up for you! More as a way for me to actually GET things done, but also to share with you easy projects that can be made with your basic supplies!
For April, I have a ton of birthdays, including my mom's and Del's mom! Plus a few other family members' birthdays and Easter all shoved in to a week!!! Now, since I procrastinate as much as I do, I am going to attempt to get things done and in the mail early, instead of at the very last moment (or not at all)!!! I hope you will join me!
Supplies needed for card:
Happy Birthday stamp
Ink pad
Present die cuts
Scraps of paper 1 solid, 1 pattern
Card base w/envelope
Directions:
Step one: Using your card base, take 2 matching colors of paper/cardstock making sure to trim as needed to fit the card. Take the patterned paper and tear it to expose part of the solid color. Add to the card base.
Step two: Take the stamp, and stamp the saying in the corner.
Step three: Add the die cuts to the bottom of the card.
There are many things you can do to this basic card, like emboss the saying in the corner for one. The die cuts can be exchanged for what you have, or make your own "presents" using a bow punch and paper! You can also think outside the box - change the saying, and embellishment to be totally different than a "birthday" if you don't have something coming up - a simple Thank You card with fun flowers at the bottom, or a Thinking of You card with a few hearts - things like that!
Make sure you check back on Tuesday for a link to an awesome recycled project just in time for Easter made with a coffee can, paper and Creative PaperClay accents! Another fun project that turned out perfectly!
