I am really excited for today's idea - made out of an old manilla file folder! I decided to start a couple of others, but change them around a bit to match the people I am making them for. This one is for my kitchen, to keep track of my shopping list, coupons, phone numbers - things like that! The original idea was found on Pinterest - which also comes with the instructions on how to make it!
The next ones I am making - will be for them to use as they need, and I will add a gift card for each slot, for them to spend and use as they want! I loved the original idea, but really am glad my turned out as I wanted it to! I really love the pockets here for sure!
Supplies I used:
Old manilla file folder
3-6 sheets patterned paper
Ribbon
Basket stamp (or die cut)
Flower die cuts or punches
Buttons and brads
Scraps of paper
Printer
White printer paper
Brown ink pad
The directions on the link from Pinterest was perfect - the idea itself was really cute, but of course I had to tweak it to what I wanted, (like everything else I see...)!!! Check back tomorrow for tips on how to use Creative PaperClay - and I'm sure another gift idea will be posted throughout the day! I hope you enjoy this season - whether you celebrate Christmas or any other holiday!
