Christmas Paper Bag Album |
- Don't worry if your layouts turn in to an entire album, you do take a lot of pictures of events through the month! Just decide what will work best for YOU and your personal style!
- Start small if you are just learning how to create! Don't overwhelm yourself thinking you have to have a "perfect" finished project - when you are just starting out!
- When you are just starting out, working on Christmas photos - in which you end up having a lot - and you do it year after year, is one of the best things to help you learn!
- Use what you have first before you go shopping! Try to print off freebies off the internet to help with expenses.
- Get your family involved in this one! It's not just YOUR day - but the entire families day, let them help in creating the project!
- Do you have an idea as to what you want to create yet - layout/layout's, mini album, paper bag album, or an entire album? Find all the inspiration and get it in one place.
- Have you actually done any projects before? If not, I would suggest top loading layouts in either an 8 x 8, 8.5 x 11, or 12 x 12 size. As for products - go to your local craft store and find a kit that has everything in it you will need! If you are a bit more experienced, then I would suggest a mini album or paper bag album - do something fun and creative!
- Have you seen examples of styles you are attracted to - and styles you are not? Make sure you take note of them - are you a more simple kind of person, or do you like a bit of bling and work? OR - do you like to do a bit of everything?
- Do you want each layout to be exactly the same with the same embellishments on each, or do you want each to be different while keeping the colors used the same? Start to note this too!
- Where are you going to get your photos printed at? I would suggest double prints in "case" you mess up something! What is the costs involved here? Can you find any specials to help?
