It's the end of the month...you know what that means!

It's a bit past the 25th...less than 4 months until Christmas!  I want things to go smooth for me and my family...people actually getting presents sent to them in the mail, and me having things done before the last minute!  Every year it's the same thing...me wanting to do it, but it never getting finished!  So, this year...things are being done DIFFERENT!

I am looking at what I have right now, without having to spend money......I have a few things I can start with.....  Your challenge for the week is to put all of your Christmas theme related items together to look at what you can do, and make your lists!

Paper in Christmas themes and colors
Solid paper to match
Ribbon
Sizzix die cut machine and dies
Rubber stamps
Computer for saying....or???
Templates
Cards and envelopes
Cricut machine for basic shapes

Out of that list, I can make my own Christmas cards...mini albums for each of my family members to showcase Christmas in their way...  A few years ago, I made a sampler framed page...they will be finished up this year, and sent!   Each of the people on my list will be looked at differently, yet each with what I hope will be what they could use and would want.   I am actually excited for Christmas this year, that is why the constant posts about it!!!!  Share with me what you are planning...pictures, etc!  I will make sure to post them, choosing some of the emailed submissions as Guest Posters!  I hope to share a few people I have found with you soon!

I hope to share a few fun Christmas cards I have made with you next weekend!  For this week, start to send me your creations, for me to show others what you are working on for projects!  I do cheap and easy items...I would love to see more detailed work from you!  Email me at LyndaJinco@gmail.com, with Blog submission on the subject line!  I will start to feature some of the work you send me on the blog!

Also, if you are looking at purchasing the perfect gift for a friend or family member, and you have no desire or time to finish or do the project yourself, please let me know!  This is what Memories in Tyme is all about, teaching you AND making things for those who do not want to make them themselves!  I will have Christmas cards for sell as well....thus the "ideas"...next weekend!  I also have Christmas mini albums on sale for $40...get your orders to me early!

Have fun with Christmas, look at the fun colors that are out!  I have seen pinks and blues and traditional reds and greens!  Decide what your colors are going to be...and get to work on that project!!!  Also look at the month upcoming...Do you have a lot of birthdays, or other events that you need to buy or make?   Look at what you have before spending the money at the stores!  Templates are cheap...if you don't mind cutting things out that is.  I used a 40% off coupon to purchase the Sizzix machine a number of years ago, and still use it today.  Look at larger purchases a bit differently...you might have to save a bit of money, or use a coupon to purchase it.  But, if you look at the reason for the large purchase, and how much money it saves you over time, then the purchase is then worth it!   A little time here and there will certainly help you to get the projects done on time, and the way you want them to look!  I am planning quite a few fun projects...both Christmas related and not!

Have a fun week, and watch for fun posts this week!
