Get Well Cards

I love to make cards, any type of cards...  Get well cards are no exception!  In this example, I used Radiant Pearls and clear embossing powder for the bear, and a simple "get well soon" saying for the background.  With my cards, I use scraps to make it more cost effective.  Add a little bit of ribbon, buttons, or other embellishments to finish up the look.

I might spend a day creating cards, or just a half an hour if I need to!  I try to make them as I am creating other things, but sometimes I just want to create a card or two. and put them in a stash of cards.  Find a box, add categories for cards you need and use a lot of, and then make up the cards to go in those categories.  Makes a great gift for that hard to please person, in their favorite colors and patterns.

Step one:  Decide the colors you want to use, I use a color wheel to make sure the colors match, find scraps of paper that will work for the theme you are working on.
Step two:  Stamp a saying on the background.
Step three:  Find a scrap of white cardstock and stamp the image you want to work with.  Make sure to emboss with detailed embossing powder.
Step four:  Paint the image using Radiant Pearls paint, emboss after you are done with clear embossing powder.
Step five:  Trim the image, matt on paper and then add the corners, use adhesive and place the elements on the card as shown above.

Hope you enjoy this card!
