Making cards is not all that hard, especially if you already scrapbook. I made cards before I ever picked up a scrapbook page, so if you can do one, you can do the other one! This card was made with scraps and 1 saying stamp, that's it!
Cards can be made ahead of time, so when you need a card, you don't have to spend the time making one! I like to either make a bunch of cards, or make cards when I am scrapbooking, using the leftovers from my pages!
Stamping is done a lot like scrapbooking, using the same things. I remember moving back home to Utah after living in Colorado where stamping was big, and scrapbooking was just starting out. My sister and I went into a scrapbook shop and the stuff was the same...the cardstock, patterned paper, etc!
I organized all my stuff, and used scrapbook papers with my cards and that's all she wrote!
Step one: Get background papers for card, depending on the theme you are doing. Cut the papers to size. I used two background colors for the main part, pink and the dotted paper.
Step two: Decide on the saying you want to use, I stamped the image in white, embossed it (not neccessary) and layered in the green color.
Step three: Add the ribbon/button to the card after you place the adhesive on the saying and backgrounds.
Fun and easy project to make! I'd love to see your take on this card, send me your pictures!
