Papercraft Haven and More

Today we have Suzanne Y Pipitone as guest designer here at Memories in Tyme!  Suzanne is in my blog hop group - an amazing group of women who all hop with me twice a month!  The talent from this group is amazing and I am honored for them to be a part of Memories in Tyme.  Now, that said, here's Suzanne!!!   I am so excited that Lynda from Memories in Tyme has asked me to be a guest designer this month.  I am lucky to be in a group Lynda started to do blog hops once or twice a month.  I love working with Lynda and all the other talented ladies.  I hope you will join us for these great blog hops.   For my project I did a double page layout.  I saw a post on facebook with this quote and thought it was so adorable and perfect for a layout.   "Children are the rainbow of life.  Grandchildren are the pot of gold"   I used Mambi paper I got in a stack from Joann's.   I started with background cloud paper and ad...

When you start your projects - do you just jump on in and start creating - or do you painstakingly plan each of the projects that you make?  I do both - sometimes the inspiration starts with one part - and other times it starts with planning it all out!  As you do plan things out, it helps by making sure each decision doesn't affect any of the other ones!  If you start by asking these questions - you can make the perfect project each and every time!   Is the project for you - or someone else such as a gift?   Title - do you have a specific title in mind? Colors - do you have specific colors in mind? Photos - are they themed or not themed?   Paper - is there a specific paper line you want to use? Embellishments - do you have specific embellishments you want to use?   Sketch area - in order to sketch out idea.   Swatch area for color selection Shopping list area.      Some of my projects start with...

Okay, ya'll know one thing about me - I love to share things...whether I have made them, or whether I just stumbled upon them, I love to share!  I love being a part of groups where I am allowed to give my opinion about things, whether it is something like Paternity Fraud I am dealing with on my Malicious Mother blog - or reviews for products on this blog!        Have it YOUR Way - since 1954 Burger King has been bringing us the Whopper sandwich a proven favorite from people everywhere!  I'm not sure if I liked to take my kids more for the food or the crowns the kids would get when they went there - something special for them to remember!  The best part about BK - is you can now buy gift cards and refill them right online!  Great for those out of state people that you want to take care of gift wise by simply adding the money to a gift card!        So, last night we went to BK for dinner - I got their Chi...

Do you have a stash of handmade cards you have made up before hand - either way, this post is for you!!!  If you don't - you will be challenged to make up a few before hand to save a bit of time when you need to send them out!  If you do have a stash, look at what you have made up and what is upcoming this next month and make up a few extra cards so you won't have to do it another time when it's less convenient for you!!        Look at what you have available to you - versus running out and spending money on cards you can't really afford.  Plus if you take a bit of extra time in making them up front, then you aren't running around at the most inopportune time trying to find a card for someone who means a lot to you!  So, take the time to see how many cards you have, and what you have made up.  What do you need to make for the upcoming few months - is there birthday's in your family, do you have any anniversaries, or jus...

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of AppGear for SocialSpark . All opinions are 100% mine. AppGear  if you have people in your life that have smart phones and tablets - this is how the 21st Century gamers look!  It used to be the Playstation and games were all the rave, then it was online with other people, then it was goofy games on Facebook...and now AppGear! We have been used to WowWee (the company behind AppGear) because they are leaders in electronics and innovative toys for a long time, I am excited to see what they can bring to the digital market and the gaming world.   With AppGear you know you are getting a good game because they are one of the best names in electronics anyway - so it's only natural they would go into the digital gaming industry.   They have 2 new games out, Foam Fighters  is all about airplanes and going on missions.  The best part about this game is the airplane you attach to your phone, and then go to...
