I recently signed up to be a Stampin' Up consultant, more for the discount than anything, however - I really REALLY love their products! Stampin' Up was the first company that started their own paper line that matches their ink pads and markers! I love that fact! I have been shopping with Stampin' Up for THAT long! If you need any supplies, you can go right to my shop, and get what you need - mailed right to you! Make sure you get added to my mailing list, I am starting a feature for my customers soon - a wish list and emails to your favorite people for idea's for you on special days!
This month - we are going to work on cards! I will share with you some of my favorite techniques...and challenge you to start to create your own cards!!! Stampin' Up has some really fun sets that include everything you need to make your own cards, simply add your adhesive and for the most part, you are done!!! I will have a class coming up in August - more details to follow, but you will create 20 cards and have a tin to put them all in when you are done!
For the next month - you will want to put together the following supplies. Find something you can put it all in that is in one place!!!
Supplies to put together -
Card bases and envelopes (or cardstock to make your own cards)
Background papers (scraps are perfect for this)
Die cuts or stickers
Stamps
Embellishments
Ribbon and bakers twine
Punches
Container for all paper items (see box picture above)
Start to decide what type of cards you like to send to people, or what you traditionally have to purchase a lot of, and start there! My list includes anniversary, baby, birthday, friendship, get well, hello, just because, note cards, thinking of you, thank you, and sympathy!. Look at what categories others have...and make your own categories up that is perfect for YOU! We will start to work on cards this summer, but for this this week - simply get ready for it all!!!
