Being Grateful Challenges

This month is a month to be grateful for what you have.  There are times, especially with my past - I don't feel too "grateful" let me tell you!  Then I have to look at things in such a different manor than I did before.  Being grateful doesn't come easy - I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way!
What about you?   Do you dread Thanksgiving time because it represents something you might not have...like a family?  Or has life given you more than your fair share of things to cause you to feel this way - like me?  Well, it's time you change that now isn't it!!!  It's time you look at what you do have, and not what you don't...
My "Being Grateful" album - was done a while ago...I wanted a place to document what I might be grateful for...my intentions with it - was to document something for each day of the month of November - and put it in an album...this year, I didn't feel so grateful for some reason...  So, your challenge for the rest of this month is:
  1. Take the time to write down AT LEAST 30 things you are grateful for RIGHT NOW. This could be snacks, people you are around, lessons learned...anything.
  2. Start to look at the supplies you have AT HOME where you can make a "I'm Grateful For" album...pictures if you can - but documenting is more important!  I want words folks!!!
  3. Take the time to write one letter to someone you are grateful for - making sure to tell them just how much you ARE grateful for them.  Challenge yourself to do more if you feel you can - but do at least one letter!
  4. For your album, write one letter to put as a hidden part in your album - to someone who has passed on that you would like to say something to - or tell them how them impacted your life.
Learn to be grateful instead of hateful - this world needs a whole lot more of that no matter what religion you are from!  I hope you have a great Thanksgiving if you celebrate it, and if not...have a great season either way!

Thanks for stopping by,
Lynda Jeffs
